India’s star badminton player PV Sindhu has made it to the final of the Indonesian Open badminton tournament. Fifth seed Sindhu entered the final of the women’s singles semi-final match on Saturday, beating world number 3 China’s Chen Yu Fai 21-19, 21-10. In the 46 minutes, Sindhu made the match her name. Earlier, Sindhu had defeated World No. 2 Nozomi Okuhara in the quarter-finals. It took 45 minutes for Sindhu to win the match.
The first game to struggle

In the final, Sindhu will face fourth seed Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi, against whom Sindhu has a best 10-4 record. Yamaguchi defeated top seed Chinese Taipei’s Tai Xu Ying 21-9, 21-15 in 32 minutes in another semifinal. In the quarter-finals, Sindhu’s victory was spectacular. He won his career record 8-7 against Okhara with this win. Earlier, Sindhu had lost to Okuhara in the semi-finals of Singapore Open. This time Sindhu beat Okuhara 21-14, 21-7 on Friday.
