Delhi University New Girls Degree College: AAP government has given land to the University of Delhi in the Fatehpur Beri area of southern Delhi to open a new girls degree college. Governor Anil Baijal has approved the distribution of land to 40 Bigha land to Fatehpur Beri. This information has been received from a letter sent by DU Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Tyagi to KS Meena, Director (Panchayat), Delhi.
It has been informed that the new degree college which opens for girls will also have facilities for sports complex, a residential facility for teachers and students, and hostel facility for students.
According to the terms and conditions, land allocation for 99 years has been done for free on a lease basis. Even before submitting the Temporary Structure on the given land to the University, approval will be received from DDA / MCD. The responsibility of protecting the land has been given to the University. The University has to send the site plan to the Delhi Government. Planting the boundary wall has to be built.
Let us say that currently, 90 colleges come under the DU. Admission to the colleges of Delhi University for the academic session 2019-20 In the DU colleges, the number of 12th class enrollment is based on merit list drawn from the college.
