Balakrishna influential person in the world- Acharya Balakrishna was born on 4 August 1972 in Haridwar. They are originally from Nepal. His mother’s name is Sumitra Devi and father’s name is Jai Ballabh. He has mastered the knowledge of Ayurvedic medicines and herbs in Sanskrit and has been working to propagate it.

Balakrishna has also written several books related to Ayurvedic medicine. Balakrishna along with Ramdev founded Acharyakulam in Haridwar. He is also associated with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Narendra Modi.
Acharya Balakrishna was awarded testimonials, certificates and other awards for his contribution in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda. On 23 October 2004, during a yoga camp, the President of India was felicitated by Dr. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
In October 2007, in the presence of the Prime Minister, President and Cabinet Ministers of Nepal, the award was conferred for their contribution to research in the field of Yoga, Ayurveda, Culture and hidden knowledge of Himalayan herbs. In 2012, the ‘Sujana Shri’ award was given by Sri Veeranjanaya Foundation for his outstanding contribution in the field of Yoga and Medicinal plants.
